When I read Connie's draft of the book I was amazed. I found out a lot of things I hadn't known about her and Martin. not only a lot of personal trials and how she overcame them but what a wonderful writer that kept me from not being able to walk away, I had to keep reading. there were parts that were sad but real. and parts where I was just laughing my fool head off. I'm happy to call them my friends and are now their biggest fans. I highly recommend this book.

I met Connie through some very odd people. You know the type, crystal wearing, affirmation chanting, dowsing crazy people.
From the moment we met, we just clicked. Actually, my bracelet got caught on her mesh Goddess dress when I reached around her for a cocktail weenie, but we clicked just the same.
The first time I picked her up at the airport here in Chicago, she was barreling through the baggage claim dressed in an angel getup and carrying a 3 foot tall fairy ( a doll, not a guy). I had to laugh, no really, Martin had dropped his coffee, so I laughed.
Anyhow, Connie and I have spent hours on the phone laughing our butts off (usually at Martin's expense) about our spiritual buddies. If you knew them, you'd laugh too.
There really is something funny about people who use tuning forks, stones and oils to treat headaches.
But, we love them just the same. Just as we love Connie. If you want to laugh, I mean really laugh, spend some time in Connie's presence. She just can't help herself, she's just really funny.
